Worms are wonderful! Especially for composting. We will learn how worms can help us get rid of our food waste and how to make them happy in a composter. Each family will create a mini composter to take home and try out! (recommended for families with children ages 5 and up)

Crafting Club

This fun after-school program covers basic crafting skills and techniques used to create handmade decorations and keepsakes — all while making friends. We provide everything needed — no mess, prep or fuss at home! Crafters are encouraged to wear old clothes or bring an apron or smock. (ages 9 – 13)

Since its 1815 construction, what we know as the “Smith House” has been home to 4 different families. Over the years, each family has left a treasured artifact in the house. Your group needs to solve puzzles, locate treasures, find the key and escape the room before time runs out! Minimum group size 4, maximum of 8 people per time slot. At least 1 adult per group. (ages 12 and up)

A birthday party in honor of one year of #CWPDRocks! Drop in anytime between 2-4 p.m. to paint rocks and have birthday cake! Bring your whole family to the party! Bring birthday gifts … in the form of donations to Hannah’s Treasure Chest and/or Shoes 4 the Shoeless. They would love a gift of baby clothes size 0-3 months OR a pair of brand new gym shoes (not name brand) that can be worn in gym class.

Nature and art come together in this fun parent/caregiver and child class with Decoy Art Studio! Children should come prepared to get messy! We will learn about and use pastels, clay, finger paint and more. This class will include a variety of activities each week. Sign up for the whole series or choose individual days. Up and Running Couch to 5K (C25K)

Train to do your first 5K run! Up and Running will provide the training necessary to help you achieve your 5K goal. This group is for beginning runners and includes a race registration on Saturday, May 12.

Taught by a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer, this morning boot camp is the only wake-up call you’ll need. Bring water and a towel, all other equipment provided. (ages 16 and up)
