Sand Volleyball Pick Up Games — Coed

Thursdays, June 1 – August 10
Informal, pick-up style games — show up on the days you would like to play and players will break into teams based on the number of players that day. All players must be registered. You can sign up anytime during the summer! No reporting scores, high stake tournaments or elimination — just fun in the sand!

Sign up to rent Nordic poles if you want to try trekking before you purchase your own set. You will be contacted to sign a borrower’s permit and pick up your set. A limited number of rental poles are available.

Tai Chi Intermediate

Continuing to develop Tai Chi and Qigong principles moving from Tai Chi Easy into Dr. Jahnke’s Integral Tai Chi Form. Taught by Judy Wilson, Certified Integral Qigong and Tai Chi Instructor. This class will take place outdoors with the option to move indoors for inclement weather.

Dance Fitness with Emily

This class is a total body workout designed to bring people (like you!) together through music and dance. There are no wrong moves … just keep moving with the cues! Instructor Emily Chandler strives to make this class high-energy and a lot of fun! Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Hike For Your Health

Staff and volunteers will lead groups for different paces. Hike for Your Health is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and get to know some of your parks better. All hikes are on natural trails. Please wear appropriate shoes for trails that may be muddy.

Amazing Athletes at the Park
Ages 3 – 6
Wednesdays, June 7 – July 19

This program uses the fundamentals of 10 different sports to help build and develop motor skills, nutritional knowledge and body awareness. Sign up for both sessions and receive an Amazing Athletes t-shirt! This class will be held outdoors when possible with the option to go inside for inclement weather, so please dress accordingly.

Fitness Yoga
Ages 18 and up
Wednesdays, June 7 – July 12
You will get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout, yoga practice, as well as mindfulness and functional movement for vitality and longevity. All levels are welcome. Taught by certified yoga instructor Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Fitness Fusion incorporates cardio, circuit training, resistance training, pilates and compound exercises. We will target different muscle groups using different methods of training. Taught by Emily Chandler, a certified group fitness instructor. You will need a light set of weights, and a towel or yoga mat.
