Preschool Nature Series: Soil Chefs

Paint Pouring and Pure Barre

A little bit art and a great workout! The Centerville-Washington Park District is excited to team up with Pure Barre to work on our mind and body! At the beginning of the evening, participants will create a paint poured canvas painting to take home. While the paint dries, this Pure Barre classic class will provide a low impact, high intensity, total body workout in just 50 minutes! You’ll leave the workout feeling refreshed and stress-free! Ages 18 and up.

Join volunteer naturalist Joe DiMisa as he points out tips and tricks for identifying trees in winter! Participants will receive an information packet on bare tree identification to assist them beyond the workshop. This program takes place outdoors on a natural path. Ages 14 and up.

Method Yoga Studio’s Megan Lees leads these yoga classes for all levels. Classes include warm up, breath work, standing poses, flowing poses and end with relaxation. When weather permits, class will be held on the deck overlooking the meadow. Ages 18 and up.

Cardio Combo is for all fitness levels. It uses a combination of aerobic dance movements, fast and slow rhythms, resistance training, balance and mat work. Taught by dance fitness instructor, Janet Hartsock. Classes held outdoors, with an option to move inside in inclement weather. Ages 18 and up.

A Walk in the Park

Hike for Your Health

Designed to get your heart rate up and get you moving outdoors this spring! Staff and volunteers will lead you on these guided, self-paced hikes. Hikes are on natural trails. Please wear appropriate shoes for trails that may be muddy. Locations vary. Ages 18 and up.
