Owlexander’s Wetland Walk

Please note: Owlexander’s Wetland Walk is temporarily unavailable.

Follow the signs at the Wetland Walk and Owlexander and his friend Wally the Water Drop will teach you about life at the wetland – the soil, flowers, birds, water, animals and more. While targeted at upper elementary-aged children (grades 3-5), the Wetland Walk is fun and educational for all!

This nature literature trail, located at Oak Creek South Park, follows a main paved path accessible to strollers, wheelchairs and OPDMDs. There are some portions that are mulched, but they are off the main trail. The trail length is 0.4 miles.

This permanent trail was made possible through a partnership with the Washington-Centerville Public Library and was fully funded by the William & Dorothy Yeck Family Foundation. It opened to the public in September 2012.
