Blast Off to Summer!
Recreation Day Camp (RDC) offers a variety of recreation activities, sports, games, arts and crafts, guest speakers and more! All RDC sites are led by trained recreation leaders. This fun program keeps children outdoors and active all week! Ages 5 – 11.

Hidden Meadows Day Camp: Week 1 (Morning)
Ultimate Summer Bucket List
Sing silly songs, learn popular camp games, roast marshmallows, have a picnic after a hike, plant seeds, make tie-dye, craft your own summer bucket list and end the week with an ultimate water balloon fight! Ages 5– 12.

ACtivity Squad Camp: Week 1
The Best Outdoor Sports
We are trying the best outdoor sports we can compile into one week! Try sports you may never have heard of — like orienteering, pickleball, inflatable archery, slacklining, ultimate frisbee and many more! Ages 10 – 15.

Preschool Play Yard: Week 1
Backyard Bugs
Children will enjoy songs, crafts, hikes and games. This station-based drop-off program is sponsored by the South Metro Optimist of Centerville Women’s Club. Ages 4 – 5.

Strollers in Motion A
A stroller-based workout for moms, dads or other caregivers. Each total body workout incorporates power walking and strolling, strength training, balance work and toning. An awesome way to get fit, meet new people, and have fun with your little ones! And, after some classes, special activities will be planned for the children! Adult caregivers with child 6 weeks – Pre K.

Writing in the Wild A
Implemented in the ‘Power of the Pen’ style, a surprise writing prompt will be presented at each workshop. Participants will take a hike as they contemplate the setting, characters and general outline. Upon returning, writers will be encouraged to draft a story, essay or poem based on the prompt. All writing supplies will be provided. Ages 12 – 16.

Trail Trekking B
Trekking with Nordic poles is a wonderful way to cross-train or try something new. The American Nordic Walking Association notes that this form of exercise engages 80% of your muscles while still remaining low impact. It’s a great workout! Nordic poles provided are adjustable to your height. Locations vary. Ages 18 and up.

Early Adventures: Kennard Nature Nook
Hit the trail with us! These exploratory hikes foster curiosity and confidence in young children. Your leader will point out seasonal changes and other natural points of interest in the parks. This hike is on a natural path. This is a Tools to Trek program. Ages 0 – 4 years with adult companion.

LIFT UP and Laugh! (Adults)
This four-week club is a fun and unique opportunity for adults to connect and develop tools against depression and isolation. LIFT UP focuses on six essential concepts to get us through trying times and boldly embrace life — Laugh, Inspire, Thrive, Fellowship, Uplift and Play. Recommended for ages 50 and up.

Hike with a Naturalist
Join us on this monthly stroll through your parks. A naturalist will point out seasonal changes and discuss the wildlife we observe. Ages 18 and up.

Neighborhood Yoga: Gentle Yoga
Exploring various yoga styles is as easy as walking down to your neighborhood park. Gentle yoga will be offered in a soothing neighborhood park setting. Class is suitable for all levels. Please bring a mat and water bottle. Classes are weather-dependent. Ages 18 and up.

Intergenerational Series: Hike & Seek A
Walk along the scenic crushed gravel path at Pleasant Hill Park during this favorite summer program! Explore nature together on a scavenger hunt. After the hunt, we will enjoy show and tell and a story in the shade! Bring your cameras and wear comfortable close-toed shoes. Ages 3 – 6 with grandparent(s).

Method Yoga Studio’s Megan Lees leads these yoga classes for all levels. Classes include warm-up, breath work, standing poses, flowing poses and end with relaxation. This is an 8-week summer session. Please bring a yoga mat and water. Ages 18 and up.
