Subject: Let Them Sit in the Driver’s Seat!

WASHINGTON TWP: Children of all ages will want to participate in the Centerville-Washington Park District’s annual Big Rig Gig! This free event takes place at Oak Grove Park, 1790 E. Social Row Road, Saturday, May 14 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Kids large and small can honk horns, shift gears, touch buttons and climb on and in the vehicles found in the community.

Featured vehicles will include a fire truck, ambulance, S.W.A.T. truck, school bus, dump truck, backhoe and wheel loader, to name a few, all provided by local companies and government agencies.

Attendees are encouraged to donate school supplies to aid Cline Elementary students in need. Donation suggestions include new/unopened markers, colored pencils and two-pocket folders.
