Subject: Winter Solstice Poetry Walk

CENTERVILLE, OH: Take advantage of every ray of sunlight as the northern hemisphere prepares for the fewest hours of daylight — the first day of winter on Saturday, December 21! Meet staff from the Centerville-Washington Park District and the Washington-Centerville Public Library at Bill Yeck Park at 7:45 a.m. to experience the beauty of the first day of winter. Be there as the sun welcomes the new season over the prairies. Guides will take you on a walk along Bill Yeck Park‘s paved trails to hear short poems and folklore surrounding the winter solstice and new season. Warm drinks and treats will be available!

The poetry walk is free and open to the public, but preregistration is requested. To register, visit www.cwpd.org or call 937-433-5155. Bill Yeck Park is a 194-acre nature park located at 2230 E. Centerville Station Rd.
