About the Park
Willowbrook Park
surrounds a creek from Nutt Road south to a large open area along Park Edge
Drive. Hiking trails through the woods and across the creek provide
opportunities for nature exploration. A basketball court and play equipment
with a climber, belt swings, and infant swings are located at the Park Edge
Drive entrance. A small picnic shelter is available for residents of the
neighborhood. The park can also be accessed from Atchison Road.

History
Willowbrook Park was acquired in four parcels, with three obtained
through open space transfer in 1988 and 1989. The fourth parcel was
purchased in 1989 to allow park access from Atchison Road.
