Cold and Flu Bugs: Keep them out of your office
Frequently wash hands and keep a bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer at your desk. |
Don’t put a box of tissues on your desk. It invites other to come over and spread their germs. |
Wipe down desktops, keyboards, copy machines, phones, faxes, and any other office equipment every few days with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol or a disinfectant quick-wipe. |
Keep the kitchen and break room clean. Germs thrive where there is food. Wash dishes daily, but avoid using sponges. |
Avoid sharing food, glasses, plates, and silverware. |
Stay home when you’re sick and encourage others to do the same. |
