Wellness Tip of the Month

Cold and Flu Bugs: Keep them out of your office

bullet Frequently wash hands and keep a bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer at your desk.
bullet Don’t put a box of tissues on your desk. It invites other to come over and spread their germs.
bullet Wipe down desktops, keyboards, copy machines, phones, faxes, and any other office equipment every few days with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol or a disinfectant quick-wipe.
bullet Keep the kitchen and break room clean. Germs thrive where there is food. Wash dishes daily, but avoid using sponges.
bullet Avoid sharing food, glasses, plates, and silverware.
bullet Stay home when you’re sick and encourage others to do the same.
