Children's Eye Health
& Safety
Vision testing for children should begin around age three to rule out conditions such as amblyopia (lazy eye) that could lead to serious problems if left undetected and untreated.
A startling statistic: 90% of all children’s eye injuries could be prevented. Children should wear protective (shatterproof) goggles or lenses when playing any field or court sport played with a ball, as well as wrestling, all forms of hockey (ice, roller, street, and field), lacrosse, and paintball.
