Aspirin, Please
Avoid giving aspirin to infants, children, or teenagers up to age 19 to relieve the pain and discomfort caused by colds and flu. Aspirin has been linked in these age groups to Reye’s Syndrome, a disease that affects the brain and liver. Acetaminophen and ibuprofen can be used instead of aspirin.
