Dry salad greens well so that the dressing will stick more easily to the leaves. Otherwise, you might use more dressing to get the flavor you’re looking for, and that adds up to more calories and fat. You’ll need less dressing if you load your salad with fixings that come with their own juice, such as beets, tomato slices, and orange or grapefruit sections.
