Nutrition Tip of the Month

 

Salad

Eating just one serving of raw salad or raw or steamed vegetables per day makes it more likely that you will meet your daily intake of vitamins C and E, folic acid, lycopene, and other important nutrients. Just go easy on the salad dressing. One serving (two tablespoons) of most dressings made with oil contains about 150 calories.
