Getting Physical for Fall

The fall is a great time to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. Take advantage of a few small steps that you can take with your family, your friends, or on your own during this time of year.

Rake the leaves.

Explore a park in your neighborhood with a friend.

Take a walk around a lake with fall foliage.

Go apple picking on the weekend.

Join an exercise group.

Replace Sunday drive with Sunday walk.

Ride a bike to the store instead of driving.

Go for a half-hour walk instead of watching TV.

Go for a hike and collect some fall leaves.

Play a game of pick up football or soccer with your family.

Exercise with a video if the weather is bad.

Play with your kids.
