Parent Tips for Healthy Kids

Kids Require TLC

Time, limits, and caring help build character in children.

As for time, frequently eating dinner together and doing other activities as a whole family has been shown to reduce the risk for drug use and other problems among teens.

When it comes to limits, being firm and consistent about even a single chore like keeping one’s room clean can teach responsibility.

Really listening to your child and setting an example of caring for others by volunteering for some type of community service can make children less self-centered.
