Homemade HummusIn a food processor, puree:
1 16-oz. can of garbanzo beans (drain and save liquid) 1–2 Tbsp. tahini
2 cloves chopped garlic 2 Tbsp. olive oil 3–5 tsp. lemon juice,
depending on taste Add a pinch of cayenne pepper and salt. If the
mixture seems too thick, add ¼ cup of the liquid from the garbanzo beans.
Hummus has roughly the same number of calories as cream cheese.
