Program Registration Information
Youth Programs:
Homeschool Fitness Academy - Children ages
5-12 participate in a variety of fitness activities.
Mini-Movers - Children ages 4-5 enjoy
activities with an alphabet theme. age-appropriate equipment, and fun music
during the fall and winter seasons.
Winter Active - Children ages 9-12 get
outside for an hour of active games and winter adventures in the woods of
Grant Park.
Adult Programs:
Hike for Your Health - One morning
each week adults can enjoy a brisk morning hike led by Park District
recreation coordinator. Programs last about an hour and are held at various
parks throughout the district.
Hound Hike - Dogs on leash and their owners meet for a self-guided hike
at Grant Park on Friday mornings.
Pathways, a community
walking tour - Use the map to find 23 different pathways within
the community. Each one begins and ends or passes through one of the
Centerville-Washington Park District parks.
Spring Into Fitness - One morning each week adults participate in
cardiovascular and strength training exercises at Schoolhouse Park.
Stroller Strength
- An hour long cardiovascular walk with your child in a stroller. Each
session will end with upper and lower body resistance training and a
cool-down stretch. This program is held in the spring, summer, and fall.
