Butterfly Survey May
Recommended for ages 8 and up
Help contribute to research by joining the naturalist on butterfly surveys. Identify and count butterflies while observing other seasonal wildlife as we stroll. No experience is necessary. Trail is approximately one mile in length on uneven terrain. This is a Tools to Trek program.

Watercolor Cactus Class
Ages 18 and up
Let’s warm things up! In this workshop, we are going to create loose watercolor paintings focusing on expressive brushwork and vibrant colors. Leave the class with your finished painting. Studio materials are provided to use while in the class.

Bike Centerville Community Ride B
Ages 18 and up
Take advantage of this opportunity to explore Centerville and Washington Township by bicycle. The ride will be led by trained and experienced bike leaders and will help you learn routes to shopping, parks and more! Rides will be an easy-paced 10 to 15 miles that start and end at a park.

Nature Fun: An Outdoor Family Storytime
All ages
Families are invited to join us outside to listen to a story brought to you by the Washington-Centerville Public Library. Participate in nature-themed activities following the story. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on.
Registration is not required but is recommended.
Pickleball League Any Doubles Intermediate+ B
Ages 18 and up
Mondays, May 20 – June 24, no scheduled matches on Memorial Day (May 27)
All leagues are five weeks long. Five Franklin X-40 pickleballs per team are included and can be picked up from Park District Headquarters prior to league play. This for-fun league is open to any doubles teams (men’s, women’s, or mixed doubles) at the intermediate level or higher. Please note, this is a league designed for players with a strong understanding of pickleball rules, and that are at an intermediate or higher level of competition. No instruction/lessons are included in the league.

Join a Park District pickleball league and play pickleball in the parks this spring! All leagues are five weeks long. Spring Into Archery
Ages 8 – 15
We will learn the basics of archery and put the skills learned to practice. Participants will compete against each other in friendly competition. All equipment is provided.

Painting in the Landscape
Ages 16 and up
Join Kristin Bailey from Purple Paintbrush LLC for a relaxing evening overlooking the meadow. No painting experience is required. This class is an enjoyable way to learn some color theory, basic drawing and observational painting with helpful tips and guidance!

Join the teachers of WILD Child Nature Preschool for a week of Wonder, Investigation, Learning and Discovery! This memorable week of camp will include unstructured nature play, creek romping and more! Camp held outdoors in all safe weather conditions! Remember to dress for the mess and prepare to be outdoors, rain or shine! Campers will need to bring a small hiking backpack, reusable water bottle, and healthy snack. All campers will receive a WILD Child camp shirt.
